Jorge Caraballo

Jorge Caraballo is a Uruguayan artist whose works can be described as visual poetry in his early creative phase. Since the turn of the century, geometric abstractions have often been found in his works. His guiding principle is austerity and precision, and his work has been exhibited internationally.

Born 1941 in Montevideo (Uruguay), Died. 5 Juli 2014
1971 he won a scholarship of the French Government with the help of which he studied at the University of Vincennes (France) under Frank Popper.
