Knut Navrot’s paintings offer the viewer more than a purely geometric abstraction. Navrot developed his own pictorial system in 1990, which he consistently implements in his works. His works are reduced to the basic colours, black and white. The compositions are random and do not claim to convey a particular aesthetic value. Navrot manages to lend his works a character that conveys the feeling of infinity, since the pictures have no beginning and no end in the sense of the word.
