Werner Bauer is a German light and kinetic artist. Since 1968 he has been creating works in the concrete field, first with white, then with colored serial wooden parts. At that time he was particularly interested in light, movement and material structures. Since then, the artist has been concerned with the interplay of form and light in concrete objects, mostly made of wood, later also with materials such as plexiglass, acrylic paints, silicone or light foils.
